SIMs

SIMs Table

The SIMs table lists all the SIMs that have been allocated to the account.

The menu at the top allows you to add new SIMs, filter the SIMs table and customize the column view

Add new SIMS

To add new SIMs click on the "Add New SIMs" button.

  • Add your ICCID
  • Select your pool group
  • Select your rate plan and approve

Available Coverage Areas

To see coverage areas, click the dropdown menu for a list of countries and options to download detailed coverage documents for each pool group.

Pool Data Summary

In this section you can see the summary of all the different pool groups you have SIMs in showing information for the current billing month.

Filtering

To view filter options, click on the filter button

  • Filter by Accounts: Choose the specific account or multiple accounts whose SIMs you wish to display in the SIMs table.
  • Filter by Location: Select the desired locations to view the SIMs associated with those areas in the SIMs table.
  • Filter by Ranges: This feature enables filtering by IMSI, ICCID, IMEI, and MSISDN. Simply select your filter criteria and enter the respective ranges.

  • Filter by Plan: Select your preferred plan to display the related SIMs in the SIMs table

  • Filter by Labels: Choose labels to categorize and organize the SIMs displayed in the table
  • Filter by Status: Select 'Active', 'Ready', or 'Suspend' to sort the SIMs based on their current operational state

Customize Columns

To tailor the SIM table display, click the blue square icon in the upper right to choose which column headers to show or conceal.

Searching the SIMs Table

To locate a SIM by ICCID in the SIMs Table:

  • Click on the search field located on the right side of the page header.
  • Type in the desired ICCID and press enter.
  • If the ICCID exists within the platform, it will be highlighted in the table

SIM Actions

Various actions can be executed on single or multiple SIMs within the SIMs table. Additionally, actions specific to a single SIM can be accessed from its dedicated SIM info Page. To engage these actions, click on the Menu options button situated on the right side of the SIM row.

  • Change Alias: assign of modify an alias for a SIM to simplify the search process withing this and other modules using the "Search SIMs" field.
  • Tags: Tag a SIM by choosing from existing tags or by creating a new one, to streamline organization and tracking.

  • Suspend: Change the SIM state from Active to Suspend. Once selected the SIM will no longer register to the network. This option only appears for active SIMs. To suspend a SIM click on “suspend” , and click ok on the popup to complete the action.

  • Activate: Alter the SIM's state from 'Suspended' to 'Active', enabling network registration once again. This is applicable solely for SIMs that are in a suspended state.
  • Detail: Access the SIM's information page for more detailed data and options
  • Move: Relocate the SIM to a different account withing the platform. Select the sub account you want tot move the SIM to and click "Move" to complete the transfer
  • Set/Change Plan: Modify the SIM's current plan as needed. Update your pool group and rate plan, click “Submit” to complete the change.

Bulk SIM Actions

To select multiple SIMs, tick the checkboxes located on the left side of the table adjacent to the ICCIDs. Upon selection, action options will appear at the top of the home bar.

Move SIMS

  • Click on the "Move SIMs" button.
  • Choose the sub account you wish to move the SIMs to.
  • Click "Move" to finalize the action

Attach Plan

  • Click on the “Attach Plan” button
  • Select your pool group from the options: ONeRATE, ONeRATE IoT, ONeRATE PLUs or ONeRATE IoT PLUS
  • Select your MB allowance
  • Hit “Attach” to finalize the action

SIM Information Page

On the SIM information page, find details like name, status, account, location, data usage, and more.

SIM Info Tab

In the SIM info Tab you will find the following information: SIM Alias e.g. Netgear backup, Account name e.g. Velocity IoT, IMEI, Active IMSI, MSSIDN, IP address and the more actions button.

SIM Alias: written in boldface. You can change the SIM alias by clicking the more actions button Alias is

Status: displays the current status of the SIM

  • Ready (SIMs added to platform, not passing data)
  • Active (SIMs passing data)
  • Suspend

Account: the account the SIM is allocated to

ICCID: SIM ICCID

IMEI: the IMEI identify of device using the SIM

Active IMSI: the IMSI displayed is the current active IMSI. To view all IMSI profiles on the SIM click the drop down arrow.

MSISDN: pairing with IMSI

IP Address: the last IP address allocated to the SIM from the core Packet Gateway (PGW)

Billing & Usage

This section shows your pool group, rate plan, and overage rates, along with current SIM and pool data usage. Overage is charged only if the pool limit is exceeded. Monthly MRC applies only if there is SIM activity within the billing month.

Connectivity Info

  • Connected Network
  • Technology such as 3G, 4G, 5G
  • Last SIM location (MCC MNC LAC Cell ID)
  • If the SIM is in a data session or not

Labels: View current labels attached to the SIM and easily add new ones.

Last known Location: View the SIM's last known location on a map, determined by the cellular network and subject to the accuracy of antenna information.

Device Usage Report: Explore a timeline graph that shows daily device data and SMS usage, with a customizable time frame.

SIM Activity Tab

This section provides a view of monthly device usage, detailing IMSI, network, and country. It offers filtering by month and year and enables report export as needed.
