Create an Account

Account & SIM Registration

Upon purchasing and receiving your SIMs from Digi-Key, please proceed to velocityiot.net to create your Velocity IoT platform account and onboard your SIMs.

Note: In order to complete the account registration process you will need to add at least one SIM ICCID.

Step 1: Start the account set up process by entering your name, email address, creating your password and selecting your account type: personal or business.

Step 2: Verify your email address. If you do not receive the verification please follow the directions on the screen.

Step 3: Complete your account profile information

Step 4: Complete your billing information. During this stage, an authorization will be applied to your card, which is not a charge. Should you possess a discount code, please enter it in the designated "Coupon Code" area and select "Apply" prior to clicking on the "Create Account" button.

Once you select the create your account button you will be redirected to the SIM activation page. 

Note: you will not be able to access your account until you add at least 1 SIM card. 

Step 5: Add a SIM.

To add a SIM or multiple SIM’s, you need to enter the ICCID of each SIM. The ICCID is located on the back of each SIM card.

To view the available coverage areas and plan pooling capabilities click on the arrows for “Available Coverage Areas” and “Pooling Capabilities”. If your country is not available on the list please contact support@velocityiot.io.

Next you need to select your ONeRATE Pool Group and your Rate Plan from the drop down menu

Note that ONeRATE IoT pool groups have rate plans that range between 1MB-50MB and ONeRATE pool plans have plans that range between 100MB-10GB.

Review your selections and click review to complete the process. You will be redirected to your dashboard upon completion
